The Brontë Bridge

Bronte Bridge

The old Bronte bridge was destroyed by a flash flood 19th May 1989, and then rebuilt in 1990, the plaque on the bridge marks the event.

It is a wooden old type of bridge, being supported by stone uprights. The stone beside the Bridge is known locally as the Bronte chair.

The following image was taken from the Haworth Village website.
